2009 Wesleyan Youth Conventions

Baltimore Line-Up

Worship Band

LIFT

Lift Worship Band came together in the fall of 2006 and soon became the official worship band of The Hub, the free standing youth center of the Wesleyan Church of Hamburg, New York. “Our desire is for students and young adults to have an avenue to praise God in a way that they are both comfortable and familiar with.” It is through that unique and high-energy worship experience that a new generation is finding a voice to worship Jesus Christ. www.liftworshipband.com

Special Guest

Group 1 Crew

A self-professed entertainer, a pop diva, and a bona fide producer: that’s the makeup of breakout urban sensation Group 1 Crew, three everyday Latinos who rose above their circumstances and the middle-of the-road to become one of the most exciting aggregates in faith-based music. Ordinary Dreamers, the trio’s anticipated second album for Fervent Records, shatters all preconceptions created by their out-of-the-box, Dove-winning debut, to position itself as one of the most unordinary offerings of the moment—an amalgam of rhythm and rhyme that takes the best of urban pop and hip-hop and turns them upside down. www.group1crew.com

Illusionist: Jared Hall

If you haven't seen Jared perform you are missing out. Chances are you have seen him and didn’t even know it. He is that good. Jared is one of the best illusionist on the streets! God called Jared to ministry while he was a student in high school in Baytown, Texas. While in school, he began using illusions, comedy, and even mind-blowing stunts to capture the attention of students and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them. www.jaredhall.com
