NEEDTOBREATHE
The South Carolina-based Pop-Rock band NEEDTOBREATHE, consists of singer + guitarist & pianist Bear Rinehart, guitarist Bo Rinehart, bassist Seth Bolt and drummer Joe Stillwell. After signing with Atlantic/Lava Records in spring 2005, the band traveled to England to track their first album; the group broke through the Christian music industry with their debut disc, "Daylight" in April 2006. "The Heat" arrived in August 2007 reaching the top 20 of the Billboard Christian Albums chart.
The use of such instruments as an antique 1800s pump organ are striking but completely right, adding history and depth to the album’s rich texture. Having grown up in church, the sounds of gospel are intrinsically woven into their musical DNA. Inspirational sounds began to inform their work, notably on “Washed By The Water,” which recasts an old time spiritual as rousing modern rock, and the self- described “worship song,” “Signature of Divine (Yahweh).” www.needtobreathe.net
Rush of Fools
It's the kind of story that most bands dream will happen to them: small band from medium-sized city goes to bigger city battle of the bands, ends up winning, gets record contract, and the first single is a hit. This was pretty much what happened to Christian rock outfit Rush of Fools in 2006-2007. Formed in Birmingham, AL, the band traveled without expectation to Nashville to compete in a Christian rock competition called "Band with a Mission." The band won and scored a recording deal. Their debut single, "Undo," was a hit on Christian music charts, and a self-titled debut was released in 2007. www.rushoffools.com

Troy Evans
Troy Evans leads the Edge Urban Fellowship, the 12th church plant by Kentwood Community Church, has a distinctively urban look, feel and worship style in the hope of attracting people from the hip hop culture. Evans, former pastor of Christ Like Outreach and a former gang member, travels nationwide conducting gang prevention and intervention workshops. He also trains law enforcement in gang prevention and will be conducting training at the church.Edge Urban Fellowship is the first hip hop church in Michigan – taking the Gospel of Jesus Christ and making it relevant to the hip hop culture using the music, the style, and culture. The congregation can create graffiti on removable panels in the sanctuary during the preaching as a way to visualize the message. www.theedgegr.com
Jim Dunn
Jim is deeply passionate about God’s Word and how it continues to transform lives all around the world. Some of his roles in life include: leading the cause of Spiritual Formation for The Wesleyan Church, pastor, college professor, convention planner, speaker, and author.
